Dr Vidya Fatania

Vidya is a Clinical Psychologist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is experienced in working with clients of all ages – adults, adolescents and children. Vidya works holistically with individuals, families, children and the wider systems through the provision of assessment, therapy, consultation, supervision, reflective practice and teaching/training.

In addition to working with Leicester Psychology Clinic, Vidya works in the NHS in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). Vidya has worked in the NHS for over 15 years, including 10 years within Looked After and Adopted Children’s Services. Vidya specialises in working with those whose lives have been impacted by trauma. She is passionate about supporting them to live with a sense of safety and empowerment. Vidya works systemically to ensure the network around a child/individual is also supported as part of growth, healing and recovery.
