Kerry Beet

Kerry is a qualified counsellor in her first year of practice, who offers a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Understanding that reaching out for support can feel daunting, Kerry is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.

Her understanding of counselling comes not only from training, but also from life itself. She has experienced significant life changes, loss, and the challenge of finding a way forward when things have felt uncertain or overwhelming. These experiences have given her a deeper understanding of how difficult it can be to feel stretched beyond your limits, unsure of what comes next, or simply in need of somewhere safe to be heard. They have also shaped the way she works today, with compassion, steadiness, authenticity, and a genuine understanding that everyone’s journey is different.

She has a particular interest in neurodiversity, informed in part by personal experience of having family members with neurodivergent diagnoses. This has given her a deeper appreciation of the different ways people may experience the world, communicate, process emotions, and navigate everyday life. She aims to offer an inclusive and understanding space where clients can explore their experiences without judgement and feel accepted for who they are.

With a compassionate, person-centred approach, she works collaboratively with each client, recognising that everyone’s experiences, circumstances, and needs are unique. Sessions offer an opportunity to talk openly, gain a deeper understanding of personal challenges, and develop coping strategies and greater self-awareness.

She believes that counselling is not about having all the answers or telling clients what to do. Instead, it is about supporting them to explore what matters to them, understand themselves more fully, and identify their own strengths and resources. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is central to her work, and she is committed to working at a pace that feels right for each individual.

Whether you are going through a difficult period, feeling overwhelmed, navigating change or loss, or simply looking for some time and space to better understand yourself, Kerry offers a welcoming and confidential setting in which to explore your concerns.
